International Law for Non-Lawyers

The objective of the course is to provide Non-Lawyers with basic knowledge of International Law through a theoretical-practical perspective. The participants will learn relevant concepts, functions and dynamics of international law and thus, upon completion of the course, will be able to understand and reflect critically on situations and phenomena arising in the field of international law, and apply the acquired knowledge to their own professional activity.
 

  • Aimed at students, researchers and professionals from all areas of
    knowledge, whose work is related to business, investments, international
    trade and related areas (e.g.: commercial engineers, administrators,
    translators, investors, advisors, etc.).
  • Registration requirements: be in possession of a university degree or a
    professional university degree. 
  • Online course: 12 synchronous hours distributed in 6 sessions of 2 hours
    each, and 5 asynchronous hours.
  • Dates and hours: november the 4th,5th, 6th and 11th,12th and 13th  (Monday, Tuesday,
    Wednesday), 18:00 - 20:00 (Chilean time).
  • Taught in Spanish.
  • Certification: After successfully completing the virtual activities and
    participating synchronously, the participants will receive a certificate issued by
    the Heidelberg Center Latin America.
