“Gender Equality in STEM Worldwide – Innovative Approaches to Make STEM Inclusive”

Is it possible that we are overlooking essential factors that keep women away from STEM careers?

This question guides the international workshop series “Gender Equality in STEM Worldwide – Innovative Approaches to Make STEM Inclusive,” which seeks to open new perspectives on gender inequalities in STEM.

The workshop invites researchers working on issues related to gender and STEM, as well as professionals active in STEM fields, both in industry and academia, with the aim of creating a space for exchange across different professional fields and work contexts.

The workshop to be held in Santiago de Chile is the third event in this international series, following the editions held in Heidelberg and Kyoto, and preceding the final workshop, which will take place in Delhi.

  • The workshop will take place from March 31 to April 1.
  • Heidelberg Center for Latin America, Las Hortensias 2340, Providencia, Santiago de Chile
  • Abstract submission deadline: March 1, 2026
