CS@Ibero-AmericaManagement of intercultural communication in blended learning

Grafik IVAC - International Virtual Academic Collaboration

CS@Ibero-America – The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) funds within the current International Virtual Academic Collaboration (IVAC) program the project Communication and Society in Ibero-America at the Heidelberg Center for Latin America (HCLA) and the Heidelberg Center for Ibero-American Studies (HCIAS) with their partner universities Universidad de Chile (Instituto de la Comunicación e Imagen) and Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (Facultad de Letras).

The project CS@Ibero-America seeks to leverage digital media to consolidate international partnerships and collaboratively further develop sustainable formats for innovative teaching.

At CS@Ibero-America, an international group of researchers and lecturers will develop blended learning courses on communication management in intercultural environments for students of national and international postgraduate programs. This promotes blended mobility as a new model and enhances the international postgraduate curricular offer.

The project also funds continuing education for lecturers from the participating institutions in Chile and Germany, as well as the exchange of experiences, methods and practices between e-learning experts and students at a closing workshop at the HCLA in Santiago de Chile at the end of 2022.

CS@Ibero-America is a pilot project conceived to be expanded with further virtual cooperations that enrich the offer of virtual and semi-virtual graduate courses in the field of communication and society and that are developed collaboratively with international partners from all over Latin America.
