Design Thinking Applied to Entrepreneurship
For two weeks, Chilean and German students work together in interdisciplinary and bicultural teams, tackling real challenges proposed by international organizations. From field research to idea generation, prototyping, and user validation, participants experience a complete collaborative innovation process, developing creative solutions and learning how to turn ideas into concrete projects.

General Information

  • Duration: 2 weeks of E-Learning phase + 7 days of on-site program in Chile (Sunday arrival & welcome, Saturday closing & Sunday departure from 11.01 to 18.01)
  • Location:
    • E-Learning: Online, flexible
    • On-site: Santiago, Chile. Venue: HCLA
    • Visit to Startup.Lab.01, Innovation Center at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile
  • Target Audience:
    • Students from all disciplines in Germany (NXTGN: Stuttgart, Ulm, Karlsruhe, Heidelberg)
    • Students from Chilean universities and young professionals
    • 50/50 mix to ensure cultural and disciplinary diversity
  • Language: The program will be conducted mainly in English to ensure smooth communication. However, coaches and mentors also speak German and Spanish to provide support if needed.
  • Challenge Partners: International organizations providing relevant and authentic problem statements.

This cross-participation opportunity is made possible through collaboration between the organizers of both programs, offering a unique chance to gain perspectives across disciplines and expand your professional network.
