Design Thinking Applied to Entrepreneurship
For two weeks, Chilean and German students work together in interdisciplinary and bicultural teams, tackling real challenges proposed by international organizations. From field research to idea generation, prototyping, and user validation, participants experience a complete collaborative innovation process, developing creative solutions and learning how to turn ideas into concrete projects.
General Information
Duration: 2 weeks of E-Learning phase (online, flexible) + 7 days of in-person program in Chile (Sunday: welcome and introduction; Saturday: final presentations and closing)
Location:
- In-person: Santiago, Chile, HCLA campus
- Visit to Startup.Lab.01 and the Innovation Center of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile
Target Audience:
- Students from all disciplines in Germany (NXTGN: Stuttgart, Ulm, Karlsruhe, Heidelberg)
- Students from Chilean universities, young professionals
- Goal: 50/50 mix to ensure cultural and disciplinary diversity
Language: The program will be conducted mainly in English to ensure smooth communication with instructors and international participants. Coaches and mentors also speak German and Spanish to provide support if needed.
Challenge Partners: International institutions that provide relevant and authentic problem statements.
This cross-participation opportunity is facilitated by the collaboration between the organizers of both programs, offering a unique chance to gain insights across disciplines and expand your professional network.
