STRUCTURE AND ORGANIZATION

The program has a duration of three semesters, which will be divided into two academic periods, offered in Santiago de Chile, and one semester for the elaboration of the thesis. The two academic periods consist of compulsory and elective modules, which must be approved before beginning the thesis work. In the third semester the thesis must be written. 

The compulsory modules take place at the Heidelberg Center for Latin America and are taught by professors from the University of Heidelberg, the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile (UC) and the University of Chile. The elective modules are part of the programs offered by UC and U de Chile respectively.

The courses are taught in Spanish or English. If desired, participants can also take free German courses.
